Manufacturing Operative Jobs for Candidates

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of machine operating, possess good verbal communication skills, be computer literate and a strong team player. An industrial operative performs a variety of tasks in an industrial environment, including manual labour, operating equipment, and cleaning.  They may work in a variety of industries, such as food and beverage, automotive, and electronics.

The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Demonstrable experience as a machine operative
• Possess good verbal communication skills
• Be computer literate
• Ability to deal with heavy loads
• Be a strong team player
• Possess good hand-eye coordination

Your duties as a Manufacturing Operative could include:

• Operating the tunnel washer
• Unloading of the linens from trolleys into the machines
• Programming the machine to the correct formulas
• Keeping an eye on the machines for any alarms
• Unloading and untangling of linens after the cycle has finished
• Learning the programmes and faults
• Keeping work area clean and tidy
• Assisting in other areas as required by company

Salary Guide:

£10/11 per hour

Typical Work Hours:

Monday – Friday - 40 Hrs Per Week
